An overnight crash in Jefferson County killed a 27-year-old man.

The one-car accident happened at 10:30 p.m. Thursday at Seventh and Delaware streets in Winchester, according to a preliminary report from the Kansas Highway Patrol. The driver missed a curve, overturned his car several times and was thrown from the vehicle, according to the patrol.

The driver, Isiah Jackson of Atchison, was killed, according to the patrol. He was not wearing a seat belt. No other injuries were reported.
