K-10 reopens between 6th and Bob Billings following closure due to accident

Kansas Highway 10 was temporarily closed in both directions between Sixth Street and Bob Billings Parkway because of a head-on vehicle accident that occurred around 8:20 p.m. Monday, Lawrence Police dispatch confirmed.

The highway reopened to traffic around 10:45 p.m. Monday, according to a news release from Kimberly Qualls, spokeswoman for the Kansas Department of Transportation northeast district.
