Light snow combined with strong winds could affect drivers’ visibility today

Light snow is possible Monday into the early afternoon, and the National Weather Service is advising that this, combined with strong winds, could affect motorists’ visibility across northeast and east-central Kansas.

Sustained winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts of up to 50 mph are expected for much of the day, and a wind advisory is in effect until 6 p.m., according to the weather service.
