Madison, Wis. ? Kansas Univeristy’s Chase Hanna and Daniel Hudson tied for third, and the Jayhawks’ men’s golf team won the Badger Invitational on Tuesday.

KU claimed an eight-stroke victory over runner-up Miami (Ohio) in the 12 team tournament.

“We played well today from top to bottom,” KU coach Jamie Bermel said. “I’m really happy for Ben Welle after his performance today. (He) struggled the first two days, but he had a great round today in difficult conditions. It was a total team effort today and (I’m) extremely happy for the entire team.”
