Kansas University women’s golfer Yupaporn Kawinpakorn has been named to the Women’s Golf Coaches Association all-region team.

Kawinpakorn, a junior from Thailand, played as an individual at the San Antonio Regional and tied for 10th in the 96-golfer field with a three-round score of 3-under 213 at Brigg Ranch Golf Course. She missed advancing to the NCAA championships by one stroke.

Kawinpakorn broke her own KU single-season record with a 73.6 scoring average. She had set the record of 75.4 average in 2012-13 and again with a 74.5 average in 2013-14.
