KU’s multi-choir ‘Joy of Singing’ concert this Thursday
Kansas University’s School of Music will host its annual multi-choir “Joy of Singing” concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lied Center.
This year’s concert will feature performances from three different KU choirs, followed by the Baldwin City High School Concert Choir, the Free State High School Chamber Choir and the Lawrence High School Women’s Choir.
The concert will end with all six choirs performing Alice Parker and Robert Shaw’s “Saints Bound for Heaven” together, according to a press release.
Tickets cost $8 for adults and $6 for youths seniors and students.
