Health department accepting nominations for Health Champion Awards
The Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department is seeking nominations for its third annual Health Champion Awards.
One youth (18 or under) and one adult will be recognized during a Community Health Breakfast on April 10. Winners will receive $200 to donate to a charity of their choice and will be nominated for the statewide Health Champion Awards.
Nomination forms are due at 5 p.m. March 6. They can be found at LDCHealth.org.
