Douglas County commissioners will not hold a meeting this week, said Douglas County Executive Secretary Robin Crabtree.

The commissioners typically meet at 4 p.m. each Wednesday in the Douglas County Courthouse, 111 E. 11th St., but Jim Flory, chairman of the commission, was unavailable to attend this week’s meeting, Crabtree said.

Because of Flory’s anticipated absence, the commissioners’ regular meeting was pushed to Thursday, Crabtree said. But because there were no time-sensitive items for the commissioners to discuss, the meetings were put off entirely until next Wednesday.
