Kansas sets up voter fraud website

? The Kansas Secretary of State’s Office has set up a website and phone hotline to report suspected voter fraud.

The Wichita Eagle reports that Secretary of State Kris Kobach’s office has updated the secretary of state’s website with a tab for Kansans to report suspected cases of voter fraud. Kobach pushed for the power to prosecute voter fraud during the last legislative session.

Possible voter violations include voting irregularities, corrupt political advertising and voting without being qualified.

Rep. John Carmichael, a Wichita Democrat, says Kobach has yet to demonstrate widespread voter fraud. He also says the secretary of state’s office already had the power to take complaints about voter fraud before the law change this year.
