Letter: Politicized courts
To the editor:
Of course the courts in Kansas are being politicized. They chose to do that to themselves by asserting political power over the other two political branches of government. Taxes are set by the Legislature and the executive who are directly responsible to the voters. If the unelected courts wants to assume that role you can bet politics will enter their world. It is a shame we are going this way, and I fear we will all be the worse for it.
