Relationship status: In a relationship

Occupation: I work for Payless ShoeSource as a merchandise distribution analyst.

Dream job: I would love to work in a paperie or letterpress shop doing calligraphy and making other paper goods.

What were you doing when scouted? We just got done looking at engagement rings.

Describe your style: Casual and comfortable but with some girly details. I am a bargain hunter and a sales rack type of person, always.

Fashion trends you love: I love the idea of mixing contrasting elements, like a feminine skirt with a men’s shirt.

Fashion trends you hate: It’s not technically a faux pas, but I think it looks so silly when someone dresses for the wrong season just because the weather changes a bit. Even though it’s like 60 today, it’s still [the end of] January, so don’t wear a sundress with sandals.

Fashion influences: I follow a lot of fashion bloggers on Instagram. Also, working in a corporate retail environment, I am surrounded by lots of trendy people every day — [there’s] lots of inspiration at work.

What would you like to see more or less of in Lawrence? More Mizzou fans, and a little less red and blue. But really, Lawrence is so cool already. Being from Columbia, Mo., that’s saying a lot! We love the restaurant and music scene here.

Tattoos or piercings: I have two tattoos. My favorite says “Seventy X Seven.” It’s from a Bible verse about forgiveness. I got it to remind myself that I should always forgive others because I have already been forgiven.

Whom do people say you look like? Aimee Teegarden (Julie Taylor from “Friday Night Lights”) or sometimes Taylor Momsen.

What type of music do you like? Everything! All types of rock like Brand New, Portugal, The Man, As Cities Burn, and The Wonder Year to singer/songwriter stuff like City and Colour and Bon Iver. And, of course, sometimes the girly pop-y stuff like Lorde and Taylor Swift.

Tell us a secret: I’m a little bit of a hoarder. And my boyfriend is a neat freak, so we have to compromise.Â
