KU Crime Blotter: Week of Dec. 14 through Dec. 20

The following incidents were reported to the Kansas University Office of Public Safety between Monday, Dec. 14, and Sunday, Dec. 20. Incidents are listed by the dates they were reported.

Dec. 19

• Someone stole two KU ugly sweaters shortly after 3 p.m. Dec. 19 at Allen Fieldhouse. The loss was estimated to be $154. (See related story here.)

Dec. 18

• A driver crashed a car and was found to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol about 3:45 a.m. Dec. 18 on Wescoe Hall Drive. The driver, who also was in possession of two fake driver’s licenses, refused a preliminary breath test. The person was arrested.

• Police found someone in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia about 12:30 a.m. Dec. 18 in the 1800 block of Naismith Drive. The person was arrested.

Dec. 17

• Someone stole a book bag and a laptop computer Dec. 10 or Dec. 11 at Watson Library. Loss was estimated at $830.

Dec. 14

• Someone stole a pair of headphones on Nov. 13 at Anschutz Library. Loss was estimated at $150.

Dec. 11

• Police found multiple people in possession of marijuana, paraphernalia and fake driver’s licenses in a parking lot about 1:45 a.m. Dec. 11 in the 1800 block of Naismith Drive. Police arrested one or more of the suspects.
