KU Crime Blotter: Week of Dec. 7 through Dec. 13

The following incidents were reported to the Kansas University Office of Public Safety between Monday, Dec. 7, and Sunday, Dec. 13. Incidents are listed by the dates they were reported.

Dec. 10

• Police stopped a vehicle for failing to maintain a lane and found a baggie of marijuana inside about 2:40 a.m. Dec. 10 in the 1800 block of Naismith Drive. A person was arrested.

• Someone was found in possession of marijuana and a pipe about 2:20 p.m. Dec. 10 in the 1800 block of Ellis Drive. The person was arrested.

• Multiple people were found in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia about 5:20 p.m. Dec. 10 at Self Hall. At least one was arrested.

• Someone damaged a glass door sometime Dec. 10 in Haworth Hall. Damage was estimated to be $700.

Dec. 9

• Someone verbally threatened another person, causing him to fear for his safety. The criminal threat was reported about 6:50 p.m. Dec. 9 at Shenk Field. The threat itself allegedly occurred on Sept. 11. The case was sent to the prosecutor.

Dec. 8

• Someone was found in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia about 2:30 p.m. Dec. 8 in the 1800 block of Naismith Drive. The person was arrested.

Dec. 7

• Someone was found in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia about 11:20 a.m. Dec. 7 in the 1800 block of Naismith Drive. The person was arrested.

Dec. 6

(Note: The following two reports were posted after the Journal-World published last week’s KU Crime Blotter.)

• Police served a search warrant about 10:15 p.m. Dec. 6 at a room in Oswald Hall, and found the occupants in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. At least one person was arrested.

• A vehicle was vandalized sometime between Dec. 5 and Dec. 6 in Lot 100, 1414 Alumni Place. The passenger-side mirror and both windshield wipers were broken off. Damage was estimated at less than $1,000.
