Olathe ? Lawrence High’s Stephen Johnson claimed the city’s only individual victories — in the 200 and 500 freestyle — to pace the Lions to a fourth-place finish at the Olathe Swimming and Diving Invitational on Friday.

Johnson won the 200 free in 1:46.77 and the 500 free in 4:56.89.

The Lions’ Izaiah Bowie placed fourth in diving with 366.25 points as the Lions scored 116 team points. Blue Valley North won the team title with 313 and was followed by Shawnee Mission East (258) and Blue Valley Northwest (157.5).

Free State was 10th with 48 points.

Chad Bourdon placed third in diving with 385.25 points to pace the Firebirds. Chad Anderson added a ninth-place finish in the 500 free in 5:35.83.
