Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Carl Bernstein will address members of Leadership Kansas April 24 at the organization’s annual leadership summit, said John Frederico, Leadership Kansas’ Executive Director.

In the early 1970s Bernstein, along with fellow Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward, broke the news of the Watergate scandal. He will give the event’s keynote address.

Each year, Leadership Kansas selects a new class of 40 future leaders throughout the state, Frederico said. The new class is then educated on key issues affecting Kansas.
