Overland Park ? Three city high schoolers placed in the top 10 at the Shawnee Mission South Golf Invitational on Wednesday at Deer Creek.

Free State’s Jack Flynn placed third at 80 and Coleman Houk eighth at 84 to pace the Firebirds to a third-place finish in the team race. Olathe Northwest won the team title with 336. SM Northwest and FSHS tied at 343, but SMNW won the tiebreaker.

Lawrence High’s Dawson Dykes placed sixth at 84. The Lions were sixth at 364.
