Seabury Academy defeated University Academy, 25-13, 25-19, 25-8, in high school volleyball Tuesday night at Seabury.

Leading the Seahawks (10-6) were Ellen Almanza with seven kills, three aces and 11 digs, Vivian Aubel with six aces and digs, Reilly Malone with eight kills, two aces and digs, Regan Zaremba with 13 assists and Taylor Hodge with four kills and seven aces.

“Sophomore Vivian Aubel, who is usually a front-row player, really stepped up tonight having to play all the way around due to illness,” Seabury coach Chrissy Leuty said. “One thing she has been focusing on at practice is her serving, working on consistency and aggressiveness, and she took a huge step forward tonight in that area.
