Seabury volleyball splits at home tri

Bishop Seabury Academy’s volleyball team went 1-1 at its home triangular Thursday, falling to Onaga 25-16, 25-18, before defeating Jackson Heights, 27-25, 25-17.

Taylor Hodge filled the stat sheet for the Seahawks, recording 13 kills, four assists and six digs.

Ellen Almanza was effective both offensively and defensively as well, racking up nine kills, three aces and seven digs.

The offense flowed through Celia Taylor-Puckett and Regan Zaremba, who each had 13 assists.

Seabury (1-2) will play Saturday in the McLouth tournament.
