Lawrence police are investigating a reported armed robbery along the 200 block of North Michigan Street in which two men armed with handguns entered a residence and made demands.

Officers responded to the scene shortly after 9 p.m. Wednesday. Sgt. Amy Rhoads of the Lawrence Police Department said nobody was injured and the two suspects fled on foot.

Rhoades said she could not say what was stolen from the home, how the suspects entered the building or if they knew the victims. She said three people were inside the home prior to the incident.
