Health Mythbuster Series to begin Wednesday at Lawrence Public Library

The first installment in the Health Mythbuster Series takes place at 6 p.m. Wednesday at meeting room B at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vermont St.

The Health Mythbuster Series, a partnership between the Lawrence Public Library, Lawrence Memorial Hospital and United Way of Douglas County to promote wellness in the community, will focus on challenging common health myths.

The first program, led by Gwen GeigerWolf of the library and Aynsley Anderson of LMH, will focus on where to turn to for reliable health information on the Internet. Knowing the difference between things like .com and .org can help you know which health information is reputable and which is not.
