Frost advisory issued for Saturday morning

The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a frost advisory for 2 to 10 a.m. Saturday morning for Douglas, Jefferson and Shawnee counties.

Areas of frost are expected to develop after midnight and continue until around sunrise.

Overnight temperatures are expected to dip into the lower to mid-30s. Those with agricultural interests are advised to harvest or protect tender vegetation.

Saturday will see a high of 60 degrees and a low of 44 in the evening.
