Salvation Army looking for volunteer bell-ringers
The Salvation Army of Douglas County is looking for volunteer bell-ringers for a six-week period during the upcoming Christmas season.
Volunteers are encouraged to sign up for a two-hour time slot at locations around Lawrence.
“Help from volunteers allow us to provide more resources to those who need it most,” said Matt McCluer, a Salvation Army administrator. The organization has a goal of raising $100,000.
