Name: Kristina Eronat

Age: 29

Hometown: London, England

Time in Lawrence: Five years

Relationship status: Married

Occupation: Archaeologist

Dream job: Teaching at a university.

What were you doing when scouted? We were just coming back from Starbucks.

Describe your style: I used to be … L.A. goth punk [and] a professional model in L.A. for like 10 years — and now I’m probably just a little witchy bohemian-ness.

Fashion trends you love: Nordic prints. Ever since “Frozen” hit, it’s been all about the Nordic prints. You see them everywhere.

Fashion trends you hate: I like the return of the ’90s, but I’m not a big fan of neon.

Fashion influences: Old television shows and standby fashion magazines.

What would you like to see more or less of in Lawrence? More originality or effort. I think it’s pretty typical since it’s a university town that a lot of girls here are complete cookie cutters of each other. I went to UCLA were everyone dressed like it was a fashion runaway, so coming here was a little shocking to see the lack of effort. However, there are some very exceptional people that live in Lawrence and students that know how to really turn it on. Less of? Less gym outfits with regular shoes and full makeup because I know you’re not going to the gym!

Tattoos or piercings: I have seven piercings that are mostly on my ears.

Whom do people say you look like? Keira Knightley

What type of music do you like? Pretty much everything: bluegrass, punk and classic rock and roll.

Tell us a secret: I work with dead people. My expertise and studies are in skeletal remains.
