KU volleyball rolls at Tech

? Tiana Dockery made 20 kills, and Kansas University toppled Texas Tech, 22-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-21, on Saturday in Big 12 volleyball.

The Jayhawks improved to 18-7 overall and 6-5 in the Big 12, while Texas Tech fell to 15-9, 3-9.

“Today was obviously extremely important,” KU coach Ray Bechard said. “We’ve been fighting to get over that .500 mark, and this was a very good team. We also have five very good teams left, so now we try to get better each and every day and look forward to our travels to Manhattan.”

KU will play at Kansas State on Wednesday night.

Sara McClinton had 16 kills against Texas Tech, Ainise Havili had nine digs and 46 assists, and Cassie Wait added 18 digs for KU.
