One person was treated for head injuries that police say were consistent with being struck with a baseball bat following an early morning disturbance at the Pool Room, 925 Iowa St.

Lawrence Police Sgt. Kirk Folks said the incident occurred after 2 a.m. Saturday. A suspect fled before police arrived, Folks said, and one victim was treated at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Police have not arrested anyone in connection with the incident and information about both the victim’s identity or suspect’s description was not made available.
