• Ingram’s, a Kansas City-based business magazine, chose Lawrence Memorial Hospital CEO Gene Meyer for its list of “Heroes in Healthcare.” Meyer joined the LMH staff in 1997.

• Grant Ryan has been hired by Sunflower Bank as a senior vice president and commercial relationship manager, the bank announced.

Ryan will work out of the Lawrence branch at 4831 Quail Crest Place. He has 18 years experience in the financial industry and recently served as senior vice president at Emprise Bank.

• The marketing agency Callahan Creek has announced two new hires. Eric Melin will be the senior social media community manager. Melin is a graduate of Kansas Univeristy and is known for his “Scene Stealers” movie blog and column in the Journal-World. Brett Terp will be an account manager. Terp comes from Repucom International and Image Impact, where he worked with advertising agencies, MLB clubs and NFL teams.
