More than 500 handmade ceramic bowls will be on sale this weekend for Souper Bowl Saturday at Lawrence Arts Center.
It began in 1996 as a way to showcase ceramics from area artists, students and community members and has become an annual tradition for the community.
Bowls range in price starting at $10, and all money goes toward supporting the Arts Center visual arts education. Every bowl purchased comes with one complimentary fill-up of soup, freshly baked bread and a drink. Line up for soup starting at 11 a.m. Saturday.
