The National Weather Service in Topeka issued a freezing rain advisory for Douglas County from midnight tonight until 10 a.m. Friday.

The service forecasts freezing drizzle to blanket the area, enough to create hazardous conditions, between midnight and 3 a.m. Temperatures will rise above freezing and all precipitation is expected to thaw between 7 and 10 a.m.
