Police arrested a 25-year-old Lawrence man Wednesday on a variety of drug charges.

Tyler Kakeru Lau was booked into Douglas County Jail and later released on a $10,000 bond. Police arrested Lau in the 700 block of Massachusetts Street on a probable cause warrant.

Lau was arrested on suspicion of two counts felony drug cultivation and distribution, two counts each of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of possessing a controlled substance without a drug tax stamp.

According to a public offense report that Lawrence police completed on May 23, 2013, Lau was found to be in possession of about 281 grams of marijuana, 12 grams of psilocybin mushrooms and one gram of hashish. Police also seized $2,910, two water bongs, a digital scale and a vacuum sealer.
