FSHS girls cruise past K.C. Central

? Sophomore Madison Piper scored 18 points to guide Free State High’s girls basketball team to a 49-29 victory over Kansas City (Mo.) Central Academy on Tuesday.

Jaycie Bishop joined Piper in double figures with 10 and knocked down both of Free State’s three-pointers.

Free State (2-0) stifled the Blue Eagles defensively, as only three players scored for Central.

The Firebirds will face Mill Valley at 5:45 p.m. Friday in Shawnee.
