After eight days missing, a Lawrence teenager has been found and returned home, Lawrence Police Department spokesman Sgt. Trent McKinley said Friday.

Jeremiah “Jay” Boldridge, 15, went missing the night before Thanksgiving, his mother, Kalila Boldridge, posted on a Facebook group set up after his disappearance.

Thursday night, officers located Jeremiah at a Lawrence apartment after his mother called police with a possible location, McKinley said.

Kalilla Boldridge said on the Facebook page that the teen is safe at home.
