Two members of Kansas University’s women’s soccer team have been named to the All-Central Region first team.

Senior defender Caroline Van Slambrouck and junior midfielder Liana Salazar were selected, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced Wednesday. Junior forward Ashley Williams was named to the third team.

Salazar was tapped for the all-region team for the second time in her career. She was named to the thrid team following the 2011 season.

KU finished 15-6-0 overall and 5-3-0 in the Big 12.
