Beautiful day

Whether you’re singing the song by U2 or Mister Rogers, it’s going to be a beautiful day: 84 degrees is our expected high, with abundant sunshine. The low is expected to be 58 degrees. Temperatures are going to continue to rise through the week, with a high on Saturday of 90 with some rain in the forecast.

Spectrum of art

Visit the Lawrence Arts Center to view “Do You Know Who My Father Is?!” The exhibit by John Sebelius uses video, paintings, printmaking and sculpture to explore issues of identity, sexuality, invincibility and youthful debauchery. The work is inspired by images Sebelius gathered over a year from public Facebook profiles. The Arts Center, 940 New Hampshire St., opens at 9 a.m. daily.
