KU Campus Art Walk set for Thursday

2D, 3D art, among others, on tap

Kansas University’s third annual KU Campus Art Walk is set for 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at several campus locations.

The event will showcase 2D, 3D and digital art along with musical and dance performances from students, faculty and alumni, as well as international and local artists.

Those who attend can discuss works with artists and can participate in a collaborative wall collage and a “digital wall drawing” event. Guests may also visit the Kansas Union throughout the day to partake in a wrapping of the Jayhawk sculpture and add personal messages on the temporary covering.

Other art walk locations include: Anschutz Library, the Art & Design Building, the Computer Center, Dyche Hall, Kenneth Spencer Research Library, Spencer Museum of Art and the Art & Architecture Library located on the museum’s first level, Strong Hall and Watson Library.
