McLouth Threshing Bee kicks off Friday

Farm machinery from days gone by will take center stage Friday through Sunday at the McLouth Threshing Bee.

The bee, which started in 1957, will feature the Antique Caterpillar Machinery Owners Association and Historical Construction Equipment Association demonstrating their equipment.

Daily events include an antique car and truck show, flea market, earth moving demonstration and Cat Club work weekend. The saw mill also will be running throughout each day and youth activities will be available.

An overnight camping site is available. Campers will have to supply their own generators because electricity will not be available. Coolers also are permitted on the grounds, but glass bottles are not allowed. For more information, visit mclouththreshingbee.com.
