KU soccer ties Arizona

? Caroline Kastor’s third goal of the season and goalkeeper Kaitlyn Stroud’s six saves helped Kansas University’s soccer team to a 1-1 tie with Arizona on Friday night as part of Arizona State’s Sun Devil Classic.

The Jayhawks tallied a season-high 26 shots, including an 8-0 advantage in overtime, but couldn’t put in the go-ahead goal.

The tie pushes the Jayhawks’ unbeaten streak to four games and their overall record to 3-1-1. The Wildcats move to 3-0-2.

The Jayhawks will play tournament host Arizona State on Sunday.
