Power restored in Douglas County after early-morning outages
Power was restored as of 6 a.m. to the 1,022 Douglas County residences that lost electricity early Sunday morning.
Westar Energy communications representative Erin La Row said the outages were caused by underground equipment failure. The homes and buildings lost power at about 3:30 a.m.
