KU student attacked by three suspects over weekend

A male Kansas University student was battered by three males in the early morning hours of Saturday, according to KU Public Safety.

Sometime between 1:30 a.m. and 2:15 a.m., the suspects got out of a small, red SUV and attacked the victim as he walked north on West Campus Road in front of Carruth O’Leary Hall, according to a statement. The suspects hit the victim several times, then left.

Captain Schuyler Bailey, a KU Public Safety spokesperson, said the suspects did not appear to have weapons. He had no additional information.
