Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post columnist Michael Dirda will give the Kansas University department of English’s 2013 Richard W. Gunn Lecture on Oct. 29 at the Big 12 Room of the Kansas Union.

Dirda’s lecture, “A Literary Life: Twenty-Five Years at the Washington Post Book World,” will center on literary journalism and the evolution of books and publishing. The talk will run from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Dirda pens a weekly column for the Post and is the author of several books. He won the Pulitzer in 1993 for literary criticism.
