Big 12 Conference women’s basketball coaches voted Kansas University seventh in the league’s preseason poll, released Wednesday.

The Jayhawks earned 26 points in the poll, which was topped by Oklahoma (74 points), followed by defending league champion Baylor (70), West Virginia (63), Oklahoma State (63) and Texas (49) in the top five. Iowa State (47), KU, TCU (23), K-State (20) and Texas Tech (15) round out the poll.

Kansas begins its season on Oct. 30 with an exhibition game against Pittsburg State in Allen Fieldhouse.
