Kansas University’s stretch of three consecutive 11 a.m. kickoffs will come to an end on Oct. 19, when the Jayhawks play their next home game at Memorial Stadium.

Call it the Oklahoma effect.

The Big 12 Conference today announced that KU’s Oct. 19 game against OU will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. and will be shown on national television by either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2. The network decision will come at a later date but the time is set in stone.

KU plays at 11 a.m. for the third straight week this Saturday at TCU, a game that follows up 11 a.m. home starts vs. Louisiana Tech and Texas Tech.

Oklahoma (5-0), which plays Texas in Dallas this week, is ranked 12th in the latest Associated Press poll.
