November 18, 2013

No. 4-ranked Baker University will host No. 13 Sterling College in the first round of the NAIA-FCS Football Playoffs on Saturday in Baldwin City.

Kickoff will be 1 p.m. at Liston Stadium.

Baker (10-1) is co-champion of the Heart of America Athletic Conference (with Benedictine and Missouri Valley), while Sterling (9-2) won the KCAC regular-season title.

Baker is 10-1 all-time against the Warriors.

It’s the first time since 1983 Baker has hosted a playoff game.

Last year, Baker fell at No. 6 St. Francis, 22-17.
