The Kansas University women’s track team climbed back to No. 1 in the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association’s top 25 poll, released Tuesday.

The Jayhawks won their first Big 12 conference outdoor championship last weekend.

The Kansas men’s track team entered the poll for the first time at No. 22 after a fifth-place finish at the Big 12 Outdoor.

This weekend, KU athletes will compete at Georgia Tech and at the Ward Haylett Invite in Manhattan.
