Michael P. Mason pleaded no contest to burglary Monday in Douglas County District Court after prosecutors accused him of breaking into an apartment in the 2400 block of Louisiana Street on Nov. 1. He was arrested about 9 that morning after a resident told police that he woke up to find someone in his apartment taking items. The resident confronted the burglar and the two struggled until police arrived.
Mason is scheduled for sentencing on April 2. Depending on his criminal history, state sentencing guidelines could require probation or a prison sentence of up to 34 months.

Probation for buglary = no penalty for being a bugler.

Seriously bugles are annoying. Although they make me feel regal when they play as I walk in.
