A person involved in an accident Wednesday night on the Kansas Turnpike suffered a head injury.

The accident was reported at 10:34 p.m. Wednesday night in the eastbound lane of Interstate 70 at mile marker 196, near the Lecompton interchange. No other injuries were reported.

No further information on the victim’s condition was available late Wednesday night.
