A 70-year-old Jefferson County man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated indecent liberties with a child. The man is from the Grantville area and was arrested Tuesday, said Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Herrig.

Herrig said the sheriff’s office would not release more details about the case because the alleged victim is a juvenile.

The man remained in Jefferson County Jail today, with a cash-only bond set at $10,000. He was awaiting his first appearance in court.
