Secretary of Agriculture Rodman elected Kansas Bioscience Authority board chairman

Kansas Secretary of Agriculture Dale Rodman will take over as the chairman of the board of directors for the Kansas Bioscience Authority after the group’s annual meeting today in Olathe.

Rodman was voted to serve a one-year term. He’ll replace Lawrence attorney Dan Watkins, who served as chairman for two years and will continue to serve on the board of directors.

Elected to replace Rodman as the board’s vice chairman was S.J. Schaub, of Lawrence, a retired Quaker Oats executive. Ken Buchele, an executive for ESB Financial, will remain the board’s secretary-treasurer.
