Morris twins to play for NBA summer league title

? Kansas University’s Morris twins will be playing for an NBA summer league championship today in Las Vegas.

Former Jayhawk small forward Marcus Morris scored 17 points and power forward Markieff Morris 10 in the Phoenix Suns’ 91-89 semifinal victory over the Miami Heat on Sunday. Marcus hit six of nine shots and grabbed two rebounds; Markieff hit four of 11 shots — including the game-winner off the glass off a drive to the basket with :17 left.

The Suns, 6-0 in summer league, will meet the 5-0 Golden State Warriors in today’s 8 p.m. final. Golden State beat Charlotte, 75-67, in Sunday’s other semifinal.
