Alexa Gaumer made her first four shots of the game and scored 10 of Seabury’s first 12 points, as the Seahawks built a 17-2 first-quarter lead in a high school girls basketball victory over University Academy on Friday night.

Courtney Hoag had eight blocks, and Mariah Smith had four assists.

Gaumer finished with 18 points to lead the Seahawks, Hoag added nine points, and Smith scored seven points. Emma Stilgenbauer added five points.

Seabury (3-4) plays on Monday against De Soto at the Tonganoxie Invitational.
