Tonganoxie 63, Bonner Springs 50

Tonganoxie — Eric Tate scored a team-high 15 points, as Tonganoxie (4-3) pulled away from Bonner Springs in the fourth quarter.

John Lean and Jack Dale each scored 12 points for the Chieftains, and Bonner Springs’ Austin Twombley scored a game-high 21.

Tonganoxie travels to Turner on Friday.

Mill Valley 65, Basehor-Linwood 49

Basehor — Wyatt Voorhes scored 19 points, as Mill Valley defeated Basehor-Linwood by 16.

Nathan Stacy scored 14 points for Mill Valley, and Chase Younger scored 18 for Basehor.

Mill Valley (5-2) travels to Bonner Springs on Friday.

Santa Fe Trail 55, Perry-Lecompton 35

Carbondale — Tyler Shaffer scored 20 points to lead Santa Fe Trail. Zach Linquist led Perry-Lecompton with 14 points.

Santa Fe Trail (3-4) will entertain Holton on Friday. Perry-Lecompton (1-6) will play host to Hiawatha on Friday.

Ottawa 71, Baldwin 43

Ottawa — Duke signee Semi Ojeleye scored 37 points for Ottawa (9-0), the state’s top-ranked Class 4A team.


Santa Fe Trail 57, Perry-Lecompton 40

Carbondale — After the two teams played to a 19-all tie in the first quarter, Santa Fe Trail outscored Perry-Lecompton 18-3 in the second quarter.

Holly Ullery scored 24 points to lead Santa Fe Trail, followed by Shelby Dahl with 11 and Amber Moore with 10.

Santa Fe Trail (6-1) will play at home against Holton on Friday.

Bonner Springs 49, Tonganoxie 37

Tonganoxie — The Chieftains lost their first game of the season to Bonner Springs.

Jenny Whitledge led Tonganoxie (6-1) with 13 points.

Tonganoxie travels to Turner on Friday.

Baldwin 40, Ottawa 32

Ottawa — Baldwin overcame a scoreless third quarter to defeat Ottawa.
